(SSD, December 19, 2019) American Trust Insurance (ATI) announced that the company will celebrate the holiday season by launching “All Together In-giving” campaign on December 16. This pay it forward campaign will give $100 to each ATI employee to present to one person, a family, group or cause in need this holiday season. The mission of the “All Together In-giving” campaign is to spread kindness, support families, strengthen the communities and share with individuals and families in need in the ten communities in which ATI serves.

“We are incredibly grateful to our employees and our communities and want to give back in a significant, intentional way,” said Preston Steele, Owner and CEO of American Trust Insurance.
“We feel that we can truly make a difference this holiday season by inspiring our ATI team to individually determine the beneficiary of his/her “All Together In-giving” dollars and present their choice with a monetary donation.”
Team members of the ATI Pierre location decided to pool their “All Together In-giving” funds to make a larger impact. Char Arneson, COO, Pete Kienholz, Account Executive, Mike Larsen, Account Executive, and Jennifer Schuetzle, Account Manager, chose the Pierre School District.
“We wanted to make the greatest impact for our youth in the Pierre community through our “All Together In-giving” and we know that by making their days easier and less stressful for children they are more successful in learning,” said Jennifer Schuetzle, Account Manager. “We decided to help defray some of the costs that impact their lives the most and provide meal tickets, milk tickets, and transit tickets. We want to relieve stress points kids work through every day.”
Upon presentation of the “All Together In-giving” donation to the Pierre School District, sentiments were conveyed to the ATI team by district leadership.
Dr. Kelly Glodt, Superintendent and Darla Mayer, Business Manager for the Pierre School District expressed the following words of appreciation, “We are very appreciative of the generous gifts to assist families with the cost of school meals and milk for snack time, and transportation to and from school. The kind generosity of American Trust Insurance and others in our community will make a huge difference to so many families of the Pierre School District! Thank you and Merry Christmas!”
Buchanan Elementary’s principal, Ryan Noyes added, “Each year I am more impressed with our community and their willingness to step up for those families in need. A donation like this eliminates a lot of stress and worry when it comes to paying for lunch, milk, & transit tickets for kids. We are beyond thankful for this very generous gift.”
As the “All Together In-giving” buzz began spread, local ATI friends and customers also wanted to join in on the efforts. Matching donations were Thielen Surveying and Mapping, CHALK, LLC, Krueger Contracting, MMCC Inc., and several other anonymous donors for a grand total of $1,025.
“Our professional friends and customers were also inspired by this campaign and wanted to help us make an even bigger impact to our school children. By working together and supporting each other both in business and in philanthropic efforts we will all thrive and build stronger communities,” said Char Arneson, ATI Chief Operating Officer.
With 40 employees, over $5,325 will be presented from December 16-December 23 to a very broad scope of recipients.
