Congratulations to our valued ATI customer, Castlewood School District, in receiving the honor of being named a National Blue Ribbon School. The U.S. Department of Education recognized 353 schools as National Blue Ribbon Schools for 2023.
Schools can be recognized for a Blue Ribbon School Award in one of two performance categories: high achievement as measured “by state assessments or nationally normed tests,” and greatest advancements in closing achievement gaps.
The Castlewood High School continues it’s recovery efforts from a devastating F2 tornado in May 2022.
Castlewood joins two other South Dakota school districts in this honor Bridgewater-Emery Elementary and Fred Assam Elementary (Brandon Valley School District).
