Johnson Earns CISR Designation

(HURON, SD, JANUARY 3, 2022) American Trust Insurance (ATI) is proud to congratulate Angie Johnson one earning the Certified Insurance Customer Service Representative (CISR) designation from the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research.

Johnson joined ATI in August of 2015 and has provided account management across all lines of insurance at the Mellette ATI location. Recently Johnson accepted the position as Finance and Benefits Administrator and will move into that position in mid-January 2022.

“Offering exceptional customer service is the highest priority at ATI and having veteran team members with this high designation of CISR is proof that our team is working hard to be able to provide the best, most trusted local advice possible to our clients,” said Katie Scheuer, Director of Sales and Risk Placement. “I am proud that 13 members of the ATI team hold this designation.”

Johnson is very active in promoting ATI both internally and locally and embodies the five core values of ATI.

“Angie checks all of the boxes in exhibiting and promoting our core values,” said Scheuer. “Her positive attitude, knowledge, and ability to service such a broad book of business so effectively and efficiently, as Angie does, is a strong testimony as to why she continues to grow and succeed.”

The Certified Insurance Service Representatives (CISR) designation program is a nationally recognized educational program for customer service representatives. This program includes nine courses focused on minimizing E&O claims and understanding and analysis of risks and exposures.

To earn the CISR designation five courses must be completed and you must successfully pass the examination that follows each course within three calendar years following the year in which you pass your first exam.
