(HURON, SD, December 30, 2020) American Trust Insurance (ATI) announced that the company will celebrate the holiday season by launching an “All Together In-giving” campaign on December 16. This pay-it-forward campaign will give $100 to each ATI employee to present to one person, a family, group or cause in need this holiday season. The mission of the “All Together In-giving” campaign is to spread kindness, support families, strengthen the communities and share with individuals and families in need in the eight communities in which ATI serves.
“We are incredibly grateful to our employees and our communities and want to give back in a significant, intentional way,” said Preston Steele, Owner and CEO of American Trust Insurance. “We feel that we can truly make a difference this holiday season by inspiring our ATI team to individually determine the beneficiary of his/her “All Together In-giving” dollars and present their choice with a monetary donation.”
Team members at American Trust Insurance, located at 825 Maple Ave, Watertown, presented their “All Together In-giving” funds to organizations in the local community including the Watertown Firefighters Angel Tree, the Watertown Area United Way and the Glacial Lakes Humane Society.

“Watertown Area United Way has been one of the most impactful nonprofits in the Watertown Area since 1970. Each year United Way funds local agencies who meet educational, financial, and health needs for tens of thousands of local residents. Agency allocations range from $1,000 to $100,000 and for 8 agencies fund 100% of programming costs. Agencies are required to be transparent, have the most impact, participate in the United Way campaign, and present their 30 page application and financial statements to the entire Board of Directors over a two day interview process. Watertown Area United Way is grateful for the unending generosity our community continues to show us and will always be there for those in need,“ said Laura Hoiten, Watertown Area United Way Executive Director.
“This donation is very much appreciated,” said Tyler Gorrell, Watertown Fire Rescue, Paramedic Firefighter, Project Santa Coordinator. “We give to 32 Families which included 107 children this year. Each child got two sets of clothing, a toy, and a box of food. It’s a blessing that we have the ability and opportunity to continue this program through local donations and support like this.”
With 41 employees, over $4,100 will be presented from December 14-December 30 to a very broad scope of recipients in South Dakota.
